Signs
- Chest warmth or tightness
- "Itchy" pain in back, stiff hips
- Feeling "too alert," restless
- Thoughts like "Oh no!", "How will I do it?", "Ahhh!"
- Sudden hunger or craving surge
→ Recognize: your brain is flagging complexity as threat.
1️⃣ Contain the fire (1–5 min)
- Stay at desk — don't run away
- Micro-pivot to tiny easy task (rename file, align window, tidy corner, read other part, do other step…)
- Exhale 4 in / 6 out through pursed lips
- Squeeze sitting muscles → release
- Use fidget, bounce leg, whisper continuously or scream if alone
- Say aloud: "Not danger. Just high data load."
2️⃣ Food
- If hungry/thirsty → go eat/drink!
- Glucose = brain fuel → signals "safe"
Extra step: Make sure your other needs and environment are "friendly"
3️⃣ Soothing pairing
- Tea / warm drink
- Familiar music or ASMR
- Touch fabric or hug a plushy toy
4️⃣ Narrow the horizon
- Write micro-plan for the hard part
- Follow it step by step
5️⃣ Gentle exit / Animedoro
- If heat still builds, start animedoro and push through 😤
- Pressure releases at intervals, like a pressure cooker
6️⃣ Forest fire
- If nothing else helps: do a workout (dance, skating, swimming, jogging) to release energy, then rest
- Try again tomorrow — you may have come to terms with the new complexity
